Blak & Ja's World

True California Love
~ Our Bond Is Divinity In Motiion ~

$$$About Blak$$$$
I am a Dreamer Of Dreams! I am truly both
of the Fishes as I co-exist in both worlds! The world of Business Women with a plan and the care free world of being an Artist
at heart. I am an rapper doing "Gangsta Luv Rap" and with my partner in crime - BLAZE - we plan to turn the hip-hop world
on it's ear. I'm also the owner of "Kozee's Den" an upscale Nite Spot where the Beautiful Ladies can come and be seen or simply
get their "Boogie on". Remember to check out "The Red Light District" for dates, location and membership information. My motto
is "Life Is Meant To Be Lived" and you only get out of it what yo'lazy ass puts into it!

Not too much to say about myself other then,
"What you see, is what you get". I am a Leo completely; I give my last to those in need. I love to make others happy by every
sense of the meaning. I trust too easily and tend to take folks at their word, in hopes they don't disappoint me. But to no
avail, it seems they always do. On the flip side of my generousity, you only get one chance to stab me; I will lash back with
a "vengance". I don't dish out B***Sh**, therefore I don't take any as well.....
***I am a "huge" Michael Jackson (and family)
supporter.

Q& A with Black & Ja
How long have you two been together?
We’ve been happily together for 3 ½ years, engaged for 1 year.
In looking at your photo's you all seem to have a good time, how important is it that you take time
to make memories?
We both feel that you only have one life to live, so why not make the best of it at all times? We choose to live one day
at a time with no worry of tomorrow or regrets of yesterday. So it’s very important to remember only good times, and
not dwell on the bad.
When did you get engaged?
We got engaged January 1, 2008; our wedding was set for this August, however a health emergency has pushed the date back
until summer of next year (2009).
What is your secret to longevity?
Having patience and remembering that divorce or separation is never an option when love is complete.
How do you keep the spark alive?
Imagination, creativity, spontaneity, and adventurous; we feed off each other’s abilities in every aspect of our
relationship. We’re both extremely goofy, so we keep the entertainment for one another at an all time high. (Laughs)
How did you meet?
We were fixed up on a blind date .
Who made the first move?
I guess you can say we both did in a way. When we saw one another for the first time, it was definitely love at first site.
Do you remember your first kiss?
Oh yes, we were sitting in Black’s truck outside of my home talking. Next thing I (Ja`) knew, Black went for it and
I fell right into her groove.
Do you remember your first date?
We will never forget; as it was said, we were fixed up on a blind date. Black is the first woman I have been with and definitely
the last. When I saw her, I knew she was the one for me. She had this charisma about herself that gleamed through. She knocked
me off my feet; asJa` knocked me off mines with her little self. Neither of us wanted the night to end. So let’s just
say……………it didn’t! (Laughs)
When did you get engaged?
January 1st 2008
I see you both are Christians, how important is keeping God in the relationship to you?
God is most important in both our lives; as we know nothing is possible without him, though everything is through him.
He is the Alpha and Omega in our lives, and always will be.. If you don’ t keep God first, you might as well
hang up being happy and/or prospering.
Do you have children?
Yes, we have three children; one girl and two boys ages 18, 15, and 11.
How did your families feel about your relationship?
Well we’re not married as of yet; however, our families love us and we’re grateful our parents.
What do you think about proposition 8?
It shouldn't’t have even been put on the ballot in the first place; as everyone has equal rights. Society should
really rethink what they are passing on to our children today. No man has the right to judge another. That job is upheld by
our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. The bible has been passed down generation to generation with so many things taken out
and added too. No one abomination is greater or lesser than the next, so a serious reality check is needed for all
What do want our readers to know about true love?
True love is unconditional, and no matter how hard things get, never forget the strengths of one another. When one falls,
the other is right there to pick up and vice versa. Never let outside influences unravel what you two have built with your
blood, sweat, and tears. Knowledge is the key; unconditional love is the vehicle to our destiny and we plan to enjoy the ride!
What advice can offer new couples?
First and foremost, keep God first in everything that you do. Do you & yours at all times, and never put energy into
others whom seem to only want to tear down what you and your partner have built. Never question what is not of your control.
Leave dramatized people out of your lives; they are not worth your time. Misery absolutely loves company…
What you see is the hardest part of being in a committed relationship?
Being away from one another in long amounts of time; may it be work or what have you. That’s the hardest thing for
us. We don’t like spending time away from each other whatsoever. Other than that, we don’t find anything in being
together hard.
Is there ever any jealousy?
We’re completely satisfied within ourselves and each other. There’s absolutely no room for jealousy. We push
each other in everything that either does. We love being at the top of our game at all times.
And anything else you'd like to say about solid, committed relationships
?
Once again, make sure to keep God at the forefront all the time. Without him, your relationship/marriage is bound for failure.
Keep the faith in one another at all times. Dance, Laugh and Sing until your heart’s content. Never ever stop dreaming!!
Ja why do you love Micheal Jackson so much?
I have loved the Jacksons since I was eight. I actiually got to meet MJ and Janet in person at Neverland.
My dream is to see MJ in concert just once and if he ever tours in the states again Blak promised me that I will be there
in the front row... I just feel that he is a amazing artist. One of a kind :)
Well I want to thank you for allowing us a little peak in your world, We wish you much happiness and
success and a warm, loving, prosperous New Year

"OUR GREATEST FEAR IS NOT THAT WE ARE INADEQUATE BUT THAT WE ARE POWERFUL BEYOND MEASURE. IT IS OUR
LIGHT NOT OUR DARKNESS THAT MOST FRIGHTENS US. YOUR PLAYING SMALL DOES NOT SERVE THE WORLD. THERE IS NOTHING ENLIGHTENED ABOUT
SHRINKING SO THAT OTHER PEOPLE WON'T FEEL INSECURE AROUND YOU. AND, AS WE LET OUR OWN LIGHT SHINE, WE CONSCIOUSLY GIVE OTHER
PEOPLE PERMISSION TO DO THE SAME. AS WE ARE LIBERATED FROM OUR FEARS, OUR PRESENCE AUTOMATICALLY LIBERATES OTHERS."

How long have you two been together?
We have been together since April of 2007 but have been friends for over 5 years
In looking at your photos, you all seem to have a good time, how
important is making memories?
Memories are very important. We try to make every day memorable. We take a lot of pictures and travel as much as we
can. We try to go places that neither one of us has been to.
When did you get married?
Saturday, March 22,
2008
What is your secret to longevity?
Communication, honesty,
trust, believing in one another. We talk about everything!!! We laugh a lot. (Alex is so silly)
How do you keep the spark alive?
Love and affection.
We still go on dates with one another. Firm believers in the adage: 'What you do to get the person, you continue to do in
order to keep them'. We have fun and try to make the most out of everything we do.
How did you meet?
We actually met about
five years ago through a mutual friend whom we are both very close to.
Who made the first move?
Epitamy made the
first move. She had moved back to South Carolina and decided to pick up the phone and call. That phone call was the beginning
of something wonderful and life changing for the both of us.
Do you remember your first kiss?
Yes it was in April of last year
Do you remember your first date?
Yes it was the Leela
James and Raheem DeVaughn concert
When did you get engaged?
July 11, 2007
I see you both are Christians, how important is keeping God in
the relationship to you?
God is the foundation!!
We both love God and believe that our love is a blessing that can only come from Our Father in heaven.
Do you have children?
Yes, we have a 17
yr old daughter.
How did your families feel about your marriage?
Our families were
very supportive. Members of both families were in the wedding. We spend a great deal of time with both sets of siblings. Epitamy’s
brother calls me "brother in-law".
What do you think about proposition 8?
We really believe that some people are afraid of change whether good or bad. This country has a long way to go before
they understand the meaning of equal rights. There are so many laws that need to be passed that would affect people in a positive
way. Too much time and energy is wasted on trying to stop people of the same sex from having the same rights and privileges
as heterosexual couples.
What do you want our readers to know about what true love is?
True love is definitely
a gift from above. We are still trying to figure out what we did to deserve this. Love is so often taken for granted. I guess
the main thing to know is that true love feels good. It is the sense of feeling COMPLETE in every aspect. Totally connected
to one mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically.
What advice can you offer new couples?
Don't ever try to force anything. When it comes naturally there is not much work involved. Also show your true face
in the beginning because it will come out later. If you are honest and open up front then you know what you are getting. Always
be true to yourself! If the love is real and genuine, then your partner, lover, mate will accept and love you as you are.
What do you see is the hardest part of marriage?
Knowing when to give
in
How is running a business with your spouse?
It is nice!! We are
always together. Its refreshing to work with someone who always has your best interest at heart.
With the pageants, is there ever any jealously?
No. We both understand
the concepts behind the pageant system. There are always going to be groupies. We are just both very respectful of each other.
And any thing else you'd like to say about solid, committed relationships.
A good, happy, healthy
relationship takes constant work. Never take each other for granted. Be attentive to one another’s needs and feelings
at all times.
Well I want to thank you both for being so candid, open and honest,
We wish you both a Happy New Year and much success in 2009
